  • To utilize the APIs, you will need to obtain an access key from UPS.
  • To use these APIs in a production environment, you will need to undergo the production API certification process with UPS.
  • The installation process utilizes QShell, which is already installed on most machines. It is 5722SS1 opt 30.
  • The UPS APIs use SSL for communication - If you are on V5R4 or subsequent release then the SSL functionality already exists in the OS and doesn't need to be installed separately. The SSL license program for V5R3 and previous releases is 5722AC3.
